Lotus Elise Heritage
A symbol of the “Light is Right” philosophy, the Lotus Elise is one of the purest sports cars in the world, offering an unparalleled connection between driver and road thanks to its legendary lightness.
Built around an extruded aluminum chassis, it prioritizes agility, feedback, and precision.
The limited “Heritage” edition pays tribute to the brand’s iconic Formula 1 colors, with each specific livery representing a piece of motorsport history and a key element of its collectible value.
On this Heritage edition example, the unique paint and specific livery are central to its prestige. To preserve the brilliance of this historic finish against stone chips and other damage typical of sporty, low-slung driving, we performed a full application of paint protection film (PPF).
Objective:
To create an invisible shield against all external aggressions while maintaining perfect transparency and clarity so that the bright colors and intricate lines of the Heritage livery remain intact, conforming seamlessly to the compact shapes and sharp angles of the small Elise.
Work carried out:
- Degreasing and complete decontamination of the lightweight composite and aluminum body.
- Full PPF application over all body panels.
- Specific treatment of front and rear air intakes, headlights, and diffuser.
- High-precision adjustments to respect sharp lines and panel junctions, crucial on such a light and refined vehicle.
Result: The Lotus Elise Heritage now has its design purity and historical value fully preserved. The car is ready to deliver the unfiltered driving pleasure that defines its legend, while maintaining the integrity and brilliance of its iconic livery for years to come.
