Porsche 992 GT3 CUP & Maserati MC20 GT2
This project showcases the elite diversity of Team TFT, bringing together the proven German engineering of the Porsche 992 Cup and the radical Italian innovation of the Maserati MC20 GT2—two distinct racing philosophies united by a shared hunger for victory.
The 992 Cup is the gold standard of one-make racing, known for its reliability and demanding driving characteristics.
The MC20 GT2, by contrast, is a masterpiece of lightweight carbon-fibre architecture, marking Maserati’s return to the highest level of GT racing with a spectacular chassis and cutting-edge performance.
For both competition machines, the mission was to apply a unified livery for Team TFT. The bodywork of both the Porsche and the Maserati received a full bright-yellow wrap, creating a striking chromatic foundation that is highly visible on track.
On top of this, the team’s decoration (logos and stripes) was applied in contrasting black. The main challenge lay in adapting the black design so that it harmonised perfectly with the aerodynamic profiles of each model.
The objective was to ensure perfect readability of the TFT branding and flawless aesthetic quality. Achieving this required maintaining design consistency despite the fundamentally different architectures—especially between the Porsche’s massive wing and the Maserati’s sculpted fuselage.
Work carried out:
• Full coverage of both vehicles with high-performance yellow film, ensuring maximum saturation and durability.
• Digital adaptation and cutting of the black graphics to match the unique forms of the 992 Cup and the fluid lines of the MC20 GT2.
• Precision application to ensure continuity of graphic lines across body panels and complex aerodynamic elements.
The result: A pair of race cars visually unified in TFT colours. The yellow base and black graphics deliver maximum impact, illustrating our expertise in applying complex designs with equal excellence—whether on the heritage-driven Porsche or the forward-thinking Maserati.
