Renault Master Discovery Machine

The Gardener project at the University of Nîmes gave birth to the Discovery Machine, a mobile device designed to carry out scientific, social, and cultural outreach activities. Through its various interactive features, it helps bring science and culture to the service of young people.

To embody the mission of the Discovery Machine—deploying a world of possibilities—we applied a full printed vehicle wrap. The chosen design features a complete gradient with overlaid signage.
The goal was to transform this utility vehicle into a mobile work of art, immediately recognisable. It needed to ensure strong visual appeal, essential for its outreach mission, while delivering high-definition colour reproduction and durability for frequent travel between sites.

Work carried out:
• High-resolution large-format printing of the design on premium film.
• Meticulous preparation of the Renault Master’s bodywork, requiring precision work on its large, flat, and ribbed surfaces.
• Application of the full wrap, ensuring perfect alignment and continuity of the gradient across different vehicle sections (sides, rear doors, bonnet, roof).

The result: The Renault Master has become a visually spectacular Discovery Machine. The rainbow gradient gives it a dynamic and engaging identity, perfectly suited to its scientific and cultural outreach mission, capturing the attention of its young target audience.
